Ligthing strike for easier 2vs1 scenario and horde growth to have better unit faster. You need to rush lighting strike with horde growth/faster siege at the beginning. I just finished a Chaos very hard campaign with no mods with Sigvald. Agents are important for scouting around and are overall very strong for WoC. Make maxing out your agent count a priority. Just wait for them to settle and then kill off the remnants of the weakened army next turn.ĥ. Always have about 3 low tier marauder stacks "sweeping" remnants and recolonization attempts out of the backline. Ally with Clan Moulder and let it resettle the ruins in your wake.Ĥ. Fielding multiple low quality hordes as main fighting units is not viable.ģ. It's a horde faction and considering the way their gameplay is designed, you want to press as much fighting power in a single stack as possible or at least until it's sufficient to easily kill off a 2 stack walled settlement on its own. Just deal with it that you need doomstacks and get some. Yeah, awakened tribes aren't really strong, but conquering Norsca gives you time to grow out of your terrible marauder stacks and those vassals provide some distraction when you invade the Empire later.Ģ. With or without mods, I suggest to go about it that way:ġ. Winning is not a problem in vanilla, but it's undeniable that it's more fun to play WoC with mods.
